Primary human pulmonary endothelial cells (HPEC) are isolated from the vascular compartments of the lung and play a vital role in regulating pulmonary vascular homeostasis, barrier integrity, and inflammatory signaling.

These cells are cryopreserved at P1 and retain high responsiveness to hypoxic conditions, shear stress, and pro-inflammatory stimuli, making them ideal for studying pulmonary hypertension, acute lung injury, pulmonary fibrosis, and vascular remodeling associated with chronic lung diseases.
