Primary human bronchial epithelial cells (HBEC) are isolated from healthy or diseased human bronchial tissue and provided in a cryopreserved format to ensure high viability and functional performance after thawing. These cells retain key epithelial markers such as EpCAM, making them highly suitable for studies focused on airway biology, mucociliary differentiation, inflammation, and respiratory disease modeling, including asthma, COPD, cystic fibrosis, and lung cancer research.

Validated for air-liquid interface (ALI) culture and 3D airway tissue models, HBECs are ideal for drug screening, toxicology studies, and evaluating the impact of inhaled therapeutics and environmental exposures. Donor background customization, including smoking status and disease history, is available upon request to meet specific research requirements.

Validated for use in air-liquid interface cultures and 3D lung models, these cells are ideal for drug discovery, toxicology testing, and translational respiratory research. Donor background customization is available upon request.
