Our Cancer-Associated Fibroblasts (CAFs) offer a specialized in vitro model to explore the critical role of the tumor microenvironment in cancer progression and therapy response. Derived from tumor-adjacent or tumor-infiltrated tissue, these CAFs exhibit the unique properties and signaling profiles associated with cancer-supportive stroma, including enhanced ECM production, altered cytokine release, and pro-tumorigenic interactions. These cells provide a relevant platform for investigating how fibroblast-cancer cell interactions influence tumor growth, metastasis, and resistance to therapies.
